Terms of Use

1. About StudioStashr

StudioStashr is a creative-studio inventory and record application designed to help artists organize information about their supplies, locations, swatches, palettes, projects, journal entries, images, and related studio activity.

StudioStashr is currently in Foundational Beta.

That means the service is functional but still being tested, refined, and developed.

Features, interfaces, limits, integrations, and service providers may change as the product evolves.

2. Eligibility

You must be at least 13 years old to use StudioStashr.

If you have not reached the age of legal majority where you live, you should use StudioStashr with the involvement and permission of a parent or legal guardian where required by law.

You may not use StudioStashr if applicable law prohibits you from doing so.

3. Your Account

You are responsible for:

• providing accurate account information;
• maintaining access to the email address associated with your account;
• keeping your password and authentication credentials secure;
• activity that occurs through your account.

Do not share passwords, verification codes, recovery information, or other account-security credentials with another person.

If you believe your account has been compromised, contact StudioStashr as soon as reasonably possible.

StudioStashr may require email verification before allowing full account access.

4. Free and Studio Plans

StudioStashr may offer Free and paid Studio plans with different usage limits and features.

Free

The current Free plan includes limits such as:

• 10 Supplies;
• 2 Palettes;
• 1 Project;
• 5 Journal entries;
• 10 Locations;
• 250 MB of private Storage;
• 2 lifetime AI-assisted scans;
• backup and export access.

Studio

The planned Studio plan includes substantially higher limits, including:

• up to 2,000 Supplies;
• up to 1,000 Palettes;
• up to 500 Projects;
• up to 5,000 Journal entries;
• up to 100 Locations;
• 5 GB of private Storage;
• 100 AI-assisted scans per month;
• a one-time 500-scan Getting Started AI bonus;
• backup and export access.

Current planned regular Studio pricing is:

$12.99 per month

or

$119 per year

Paid Studio subscriptions are not yet active during the current reservation phase.

StudioStashr may revise plan features, limits, or pricing in the future.

Any changes affecting an existing paid subscription will be communicated as required by applicable law and the terms presented at purchase.

5. Founding Artist Offer

During the Foundational Beta, StudioStashr may offer eligible artists the opportunity to reserve introductory Studio pricing.

Current Founding Artist introductory pricing is:

$9.99 per month for the first 6 months, then $12.99 per month

or

$109 for the first year, then $119 per year

A Founding Artist reservation:

• is not a purchase;
• does not start a subscription;
• does not authorize StudioStashr to charge you;
• does not require you to subscribe later.

If paid Studio subscriptions become available, StudioStashr may contact people who validly reserved the offer and give them an opportunity to decide whether they want to subscribe.

A reservation does not obligate StudioStashr to launch paid subscriptions on a particular date.

Offer period

A Founding Artist reservation window may be available for a limited period.

For the initial Foundational Beta launch, StudioStashr intends to make the offer available for approximately 21 days.

Once the reservation period closes, StudioStashr may stop accepting new reservations even if Free account registration remains available.

StudioStashr may reject duplicate, fraudulent, automated, or abusive reservations.

6. Future Paid Subscriptions

Paid subscriptions are not currently active.

If StudioStashr activates paid subscriptions later, payment processing may be handled by a third-party payment provider.

Before completing a purchase, you will be shown the applicable:

• price;
• billing frequency;
• introductory period, if any;
• renewal terms;
• cancellation information;
• refund terms;
• payment-provider terms.

A separate refund and cancellation policy will be provided before paid subscriptions begin.

StudioStashr does not intend to directly store full payment-card information.

These Terms may be updated before paid subscription processing becomes active.

7. Plan Limits and Downgrades

StudioStashr may enforce record, Storage, AI-usage, or other limits associated with your plan.

If you move from Studio to Free and your account exceeds a Free-plan limit, StudioStashr does not automatically delete your existing information.

You may continue to:

• view;
• search;
• edit;
• delete;
• back up;
• export

existing records in an over-limit category.

You simply cannot add new records in that category until you reduce your usage below the applicable Free limit or return to Studio.

Backup and export remain available after downgrade, including for existing information that exceeds Free limits.

8. Your Content

You retain ownership of the original content you add to StudioStashr.

This may include:

• photographs;
• swatches;
• journal text;
• notes;
• project descriptions;
• other original material you create.

You give StudioStashr a limited, non-exclusive permission to host, store, process, copy, transform, and transmit your content only as reasonably necessary to:

• provide the service;
• display your records back to you;
• create backups and exports;
• operate security and recovery systems;
• perform features you intentionally request;
• maintain and improve service reliability.

This permission does not transfer ownership of your artwork or studio records to StudioStashr.

StudioStashr does not claim ownership of your artwork.

9. Content You Upload

You are responsible for content you upload or enter into StudioStashr.

You should only upload material that you own, have permission to use, or are otherwise legally permitted to store.

Do not use StudioStashr to upload or distribute material that:

• infringes intellectual-property rights;
• violates privacy or publicity rights;
• is unlawful;
• contains malicious software;
• is intended to harm another person or system.

StudioStashr is intended primarily for personal creative-studio records, not public file distribution.

10. Optional AI-Assisted Features

StudioStashr includes optional AI-assisted features intended to reduce repetitive data entry.

StudioStashr is not an AI art generator.

You may disable AI-assisted features and continue using the core application.

When you intentionally use an AI-assisted extraction feature, selected images and limited related information may be processed by a third-party AI provider as described in the Privacy Policy.

AI may be wrong

AI-generated or AI-assisted information may be incomplete, inaccurate, outdated, or incorrect.

You are responsible for reviewing AI suggestions before relying on or saving them.

Do not rely solely on AI-generated information for matters involving:

• health or safety;
• hazardous-material handling;
• manufacturer warnings;
• product toxicity;
• archival permanence;
• lightfastness;
• legal requirements;
• other information where accuracy could affect safety or significant decisions.

StudioStashr does not guarantee the accuracy of AI-generated information.

11. Getting Started AI Bonus

Eligible active Studio accounts may receive a one-time Getting Started AI bonus.

The current planned bonus is 500 AI-assisted scans.

The bonus:

• may be activated once;
• can remain unactivated while qualifying Studio access remains continuously active;
• does not expire on a calendar schedule while the qualifying Studio subscription remains active;
• is used after the monthly Studio AI allowance;
• is forfeited if qualifying Studio access ends;
• is not restored or recreated merely because the account later subscribes again.

StudioStashr may change future promotional or onboarding bonuses, but previously granted benefits will be handled according to the terms associated with those benefits and applicable law.

12. Backups and Export

StudioStashr provides export and backup tools intended to help you keep copies of your information outside the service.

Available formats may include:

• structured backup data;
• spreadsheets;
• full backup archives containing data and saved images.

Prepared downloadable backup files may only remain available for a limited time.

You are responsible for downloading and safely storing copies you wish to keep.

Restore limitation

User-facing restore/import is not currently available during the Foundational Beta.

StudioStashr strongly recommends that you maintain independent copies of:

• irreplaceable artwork photographs;
• important reference images;
• records you cannot easily recreate.

Backup/export tools reduce risk but do not guarantee against every possible form of data loss.

13. Acceptable Use

You may not use StudioStashr to:

• violate applicable law;
• access another user's account or data without authorization;
• bypass plan limits, security controls, rate limits, or access restrictions;
• probe or exploit vulnerabilities;
• introduce malware or malicious code;
• interfere with the operation of the service;
• automate abusive account creation or data generation;
• scrape the service in a way that harms performance or circumvents intended access;
• impersonate another person;
• use StudioStashr to facilitate fraud;
• use the service in a manner that materially burdens the infrastructure beyond normal intended use.

Reasonable personal automation or accessibility tools are not prohibited merely because they are automated.

The purpose of this section is to prevent abuse, not ordinary creative use.

14. Security

StudioStashr uses reasonable measures intended to protect accounts and private studio data.

No online system is completely secure.

You are responsible for using reasonable account-security practices and maintaining independent copies of irreplaceable information.

If StudioStashr discovers a security problem that materially affects users, StudioStashr will take reasonable steps to address it and provide notice where required.

15. Third-Party Services

StudioStashr relies on third-party services for functions such as:

• hosting;
• authentication;
• private data Storage;
• email;
• anti-abuse protection;
• analytics and diagnostics;
• AI processing;
• external forms;
• disaster recovery.

StudioStashr does not control every aspect of those third-party services.

Their availability, policies, and technical behavior may change.

Your use of third-party services may also be subject to their own terms and privacy practices.

StudioStashr is not responsible for third-party services beyond the extent required by applicable law, but we will use reasonable care in selecting and configuring services used to operate StudioStashr.

16. External Links

StudioStashr may contain links to external websites or services.

A link does not necessarily mean StudioStashr endorses every statement, product, or practice of the external site.

External sites are governed by their own terms and privacy policies.

17. Availability and Changes to the Service

StudioStashr is not guaranteed to be available without interruption.

The service may occasionally be unavailable due to:

• maintenance;
• upgrades;
• provider outages;
• security incidents;
• bugs;
• circumstances outside StudioStashr's reasonable control.

StudioStashr may add, change, or remove features as the product develops.

Because StudioStashr is currently in Foundational Beta, changes may occur more frequently than they would in a mature product.

StudioStashr will make reasonable efforts not to make changes that unnecessarily destroy or strand user data.

18. Beta Software

You understand that StudioStashr is currently beta software.

Beta software may contain:

• bugs;
• incomplete features;
• performance problems;
• unexpected behavior;
• changes to workflows or interfaces.

Your feedback may be used to improve StudioStashr.

Submitting feedback does not give you ownership rights in later features, designs, or improvements developed by StudioStashr.

StudioStashr may use ideas or suggestions voluntarily submitted through feedback without an obligation to compensate you, provided that doing so does not transfer ownership of your underlying artwork or private content.

19. Account Suspension or Termination

StudioStashr may suspend or terminate access when reasonably necessary because of:

• fraud;
• serious security abuse;
• unlawful activity;
• repeated material violations of these Terms;
• attempts to access other users' private information;
• abuse that materially threatens the service or other users.

Where practical and appropriate, StudioStashr may provide notice before termination.

StudioStashr will not terminate ordinary accounts simply because someone chooses not to upgrade to a paid plan.

20. Closing StudioStashr

StudioStashr is a new independent service.

Although there is no current plan to discontinue it, no small software service can honestly guarantee that it will operate forever.

If StudioStashr decides to permanently discontinue the service, reasonable efforts will be made to:

• give users advance notice when practical;
• keep export/backup access available for a reasonable wind-down period;
• provide users an opportunity to retrieve their data where reasonably possible.

Emergencies, legal requirements, security incidents, or provider failures may limit what is possible.

21. Account Deletion

You may request account deletion through the StudioStashr application.

Account deletion is permanent.

Active account records and user files are designed to be deleted as described in the Privacy Policy.

Limited historical copies may remain temporarily in protected recovery backups or third-party technical records until their retention periods expire.

Deleting your StudioStashr application account does not automatically delete information separately submitted through external forms or email.

22. Intellectual Property

StudioStashr itself, including its:

• name;
• logo;
• original interface;
• software;
• site design;
• documentation;
• original written content;
• branding;

is protected by applicable intellectual-property law.

These Terms do not grant you ownership of StudioStashr's software or brand.

You may use StudioStashr for its intended purpose while your account is authorized.

You may not copy, sell, redistribute, reverse engineer, or commercially exploit StudioStashr except where applicable law expressly permits it.

This section does not restrict your ownership of your own content.

23. No Professional Advice

StudioStashr is an organization and recordkeeping tool.

Information provided through StudioStashr, including AI-assisted suggestions, is not professional:

• legal advice;
• medical advice;
• financial advice;
• chemical-safety advice;
• conservation advice;
• archival advice.

Where important decisions depend on specialized expertise, consult an appropriate qualified source.

24. Disclaimers

To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law, StudioStashr is provided “as is” and “as available.”

StudioStashr does not guarantee that:

• the service will always be uninterrupted;
• every feature will be error-free;
• AI-generated information will be accurate;
• every third-party service will remain available;
• every file or record can always be recovered.

Nothing in these Terms excludes warranties or consumer protections that cannot legally be excluded.

25. Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law, StudioStashr and its operator will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, exemplary, or punitive damages arising from use of or inability to use the service.

This includes, where legally permitted, losses involving:

• lost profits;
• lost opportunities;
• loss of data;
• loss of creative records;
• business interruption.

StudioStashr does not provide an automatic right to compensation, reimbursement, or a refund merely because an error, interruption, data loss, inaccurate AI suggestion, or other problem occurs.

Any claim for damages must be established in accordance with applicable law, including proof of the claim and any damages sought.

Nothing in these Terms limits any liability, remedy, refund right, or consumer protection that cannot legally be limited or excluded. Where a dispute results in a court judgment, any remedy will be determined by the court under applicable law.

26. Indemnification

To the extent permitted by applicable law, you agree to be responsible for claims, damages, or expenses arising from:

• content you unlawfully upload;
• your intentional misuse of StudioStashr;
• your material violation of these Terms;
• your infringement of another person's legal rights.

This does not require you to indemnify StudioStashr for losses caused solely by StudioStashr's own unlawful conduct or negligence where applicable law prohibits such a requirement.

27. Privacy

StudioStashr's handling of personal information is described in the StudioStashr Privacy Policy.

The Privacy Policy is incorporated into these Terms by reference where permitted by law.

28. Changes to These Terms

StudioStashr may update these Terms as the service evolves.

When changes are made, the Last Updated date will be revised.

For material changes, StudioStashr may provide additional notice through:

• the application;
• the public site;
• email;
• another reasonable method.

If applicable law requires affirmative consent to a particular change, StudioStashr will request it.

29. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Arkansas, without regard to conflict-of-law rules, except where applicable consumer law requires otherwise.

Nothing in this section deprives you of rights that cannot legally be waived under the law where you live.

30. Disputes

StudioStashr encourages users to contact us first if a dispute arises so we have an opportunity to resolve the issue informally.

These Terms do not currently require private arbitration or waive your right to participate in a class action.

Any dispute that cannot be resolved informally may be brought in a court with appropriate jurisdiction, subject to applicable law.

31. Severability

If a provision of these Terms is found unenforceable, the remaining provisions will continue in effect to the extent permitted by law.

An unenforceable provision should be interpreted as closely as reasonably possible to its intended lawful purpose.

32. No Waiver

If StudioStashr does not immediately enforce a provision of these Terms, that does not permanently waive the right to enforce it later.

33. Entire Agreement

These Terms, together with the Privacy Policy and any additional terms clearly presented for a specific paid subscription or promotional offer, form the agreement between you and StudioStashr regarding use of the service.
